Think about all the different classroom environments you have experienced in elementary school, junior high, and high school.

Describe one positive and one negative classroom environment.
Your Turn: Journal : (5 minutes) Describe one positive and one negative classroom environment. For each: Include the grade and subject What is the “instant impression” given by each of those rooms? Select and describe specific items the teacher has displayed. What are the messages sent by the presence of each item and how each item is displayed?

Part 1: Wall Space Describe and illustrate how you would organize information in your classroom on the Walls, Bulletin Boards, and Whiteboards/Chalkboards.

Describe and illustrate the books and materials you would like to see in your classroom and how you would arrange them.

Part 3: The Teacher Work Area and Teaching Materials
Describe and illustrate how you would store the supplies in your future classroom.
