Programme Support Division Mission Statement  To provide overall direction, guidance and administration on the allocation and management of UN-Habitat resources  coordinating and developing the programme of work and budget  ensuring sound financial and administrative management  providing efficient and effective programme support services in accordance with the UN rules and regulations.

3. Programme Support Division Core Functions  Ensuring that UN-Habitat utilizes effective planning practices and procedures and keeping them under constant review;  Ensuring the sound financial and administrative management of UNHabitat,  Ensuring the proper servicing of funding partners and compliance with agreements;  Providing overall direction and guidance on the allocation and management of resources within the Programme and to the Divisions and Branches through the respective PMOs;  Taking responsibility for UN-Habitat support services, keeping them under constant review and initiating changes as appropriate;  Liaising with the United Nations Office at Nairobi on the efficient delivery of administrative services to UN-Habitat.
