THE FRAMEWORK The framework consists of: Functional skills in English & Maths at Level 2 – a variety of qualifications can be used Integrated Personal Learning & Thinking Skills – not taught separately but assessed separately Equality & Diversity – employer law rights & responsibilities, health & safety: all delivered but not credit based Accreditation of Prior & Experiential Learning is part of the framework

5. FINAL POINTS Delivery is flexible – to meet the needs of employers and employees This development moves on from FDs being an ‘add on’ It becomes an integrated part of the framework
