2.  So, you signed up for this class, but do you even know what estimating is?  The act of providing an educated guess for a quantitative value????  Is that the best you can do???  Well yeah, that’s part of it but what if I said that the proper name of this class is Construction Estimating??.... What do you think now?

3.  Super Bowl weekend is quickly approaching  Let’s have a party!!!!  What kind of party are we going to have??  (remember we’re in school)  Dinner?  Watch party?  Jim Harbaugh hating, etc.?

4.  How many people are you going to invite?  How long is the party going to last?  Where will the party be held?  What are you going to eat and drink?  Still in school.....  Are you going to have decorations?  Hire a DJ?  Need “workers?”  Still in school

6. Construction estimating is the process of measuring, pricing, and bidding a construction job. Throughout this course you will be introduced to Construction Estimating and Construction Management. You will be engaged in mathematical computations, research and design, construction document reading, drafting, and discussion based on ethical pricing and business practices. Sounds fun, aye??? Well it is!!!
