6 Case Example: Housekeeping 6  Data was collected measuring the length of time it took to clean a room and to turn over the room properly to patients.  Control charts gave a sense of what constituted efficient turnover and insufficient turnover, which allows for future goals to be set.  Realized that bed turnover had an effect on ED waiting time.
