HIGHLIGHTS OF ACHIEVEMENT – 2014 During the year-2014 : Following important achievement made by Bihar Sector :- 1.Total 23 encounters with naxals took place during the year. 2.02 dead bodies recovered and around 5-6 more reportedly killed. 3.Total 160 naxals and 64 suspected naxals/ their sympathisers were arrested. 4.02 Insas Rifles a/w total 66 weapons were recovered. 5.Around 100 bighas of opium cultivation destroyed by our troops in Barachatti, Gaya area. 6.In view of heightened camp security Helicopter landing near inaccessible Bhimbandh camp facilitated by pursuing with forest deptt officials on 31.12.2014. 7.Camp security of all interior posts reviewed and strengthened by carrying our required modification/ construction. 8.State Govt. persuaded for declaring ex-gratia of Rs. 5 Lakhs to all Martyr CAPF personnel in r/o Bihar. 9.Rs. 10 Lakhs ex-gratia given to CT/GD Radheshyam Ram by Bihar Govt. who got martyrdoom in an encounter, dtd 01/11/2014 in Sukma District of Chhattisgarh. 10.State Govt persuaded for allotment of 50 acres of land at Punpun, Patna.
