Course Requirements Textbook – Understanding Psychology – an online edition (distributed as needed) Handouts Grading Policy –Participation – 10% –Homework – 20% –Quizzes – 30% –Tests and Projects – 40% –FINAL PROJECT – 200 points (must complete to pass the course) -ESSAYS/CASE STUDIES – response to movies --MANY ASSIGNMENTS MUST BE POSTED ON TURNITIN. ***NOT A DIFFICULT COURSE TO PASS-MUST DO THE ASSIGNMENTS

Make a Psychological Experiment Come Alive! How did the results of psychological research affect the field of psychology and the way we view behavior? 1.Choose one experiment or research study from a list (or you may have other ideas) 2.Make a 10-15 minute oral presentation which actively involves the entire class 3.Counts as a major part of your final grade for the course (200 points) 4.Must complete to pass the course 5.DON’T WAIT UNTIL LAST MINUTE!!! 6.***TIMELINE – 1.Due dates for portions of the project
