Calories and Exercise
2
Calories Calories are what you get when you eat food. Different foods will have a different amount of calories. Calories can be burnt while exercising. The formula for burning calories is kilometers x weight (kg) x 1.036 = calories burnt. If you gain more calories than your body burns, you can get fat. If you gain less than what your body burns, you start to get thinner.
3
Foods and Calories Some foods have more calories than others. 1 plain donut: 185 Calories. McDonalds Big Mac: 299 Calories
4
If I ate a donut, and I wanted to burn all the calories, I would have to run about 6 kilometers. But I need some of those calories because I need energy.
