Program Goal: To increase student organization participation in Mizzou Homecoming and encourage ONE MIZZOU. Mizzou Homecoming is a campus- wide event in which all students are encouraged to participate. Program Purpose: The Homecoming grant program has two primary components. First, it will provide registered student organizations information about how they can participate in Homecoming. Second, it will provide financial resources that support organization participation. This allows all organizations, regardless of their financial situation, the opportunity to participate in Homecoming events, including Decorate the District, parade, the banner competition, and additional royalty applications. Student Organization Homecoming Grant Program
3
Grant Process: Student organizations will submit a one page interest form (below) to 123 Reynolds Alumni Center indicating which Homecoming activities they plan on participating in. In order to receive funding, MAA must have this document on file. Grants will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis, based on the order in which the interest forms are submitted to MAA. The FINAL deadline for grant applications is Sept. 16. During Homecoming, organizations must participate in each activity to which they have committed. No-shows and cancellations will result in disqualification from the grant program. Following Homecoming, organizations will submit an expense form (attached) with receipts from all purchases to 123 Reynolds Alumni Center by October 19. MAA and ORG will reimburse groups that meet all grant requirements for up to $********.
