Trialware Definition: Trialware is software that allows you to trial certain software before you buy it. Advantages for; Individuals – Allows you to try something out before you buy it Educational Institutions – Allows teachers etc. to try out software before they buy it and allow their students top use it. Disadvantages for; Individuals – Has limited features and no support, can be difficulty to install and uninstall Educational institutions - Has limited features and no support, can be difficulty to install and uninstall

Single License Definition: A single license for a single user. Allows the software to be used by only a single person Advantages for; Individuals – You wont have to pay extra for others as it is only for single user access Educational Institutions – No real advantage Disadvantages for; Individuals – Cant share with others Educational Institutions – Would be very expensive to buy a single license for everyone at a school/university etc.

Incurring License Definition: Software bought according to how many computers the software will be on Advantages for; Individuals – There is no real advantage Educational Institutions – You are able to buy more of the software for more computers for a cheaper price Disadvantages for; Individuals – Everyone would be connected to the same software Educational Institutions – Everyone would be connected to the same software
