10 Fads & Fallacies Fad – a food product that is very popular for a short period of time Fallacy is a mistaken belief –Trail mixes, pop rocks, juice boxes are examples of fad foods –Athletes consuming raw eggs because of superior protein is a fallacy

11 Assignment Pretend you have just been hired to create a full scale media marketing plan for a particular very healthy food item (milk, eggs, whole grain products, fruit) Create a color print media ad and write the script for a radio spot for this product
