Devotional Bible Study (Chapter Devotional and Analysis Method) Pre-servant Bible Study Complimentary to the Book Summary Bible Study method. It examines each paragraph, sentence, and word in a detailed and systematic manner. Chapter Study Steps: 1. Create a chapter summary: 1.1. Read the chapter without stopping and create a title. 1.2. Link it to the previous book chapters 1.3. Give each paragraph a heading and place the sub points of the paragraph below it. 2. Ask detailed questions of the chapter placing the unanswered questions for research. 3. Make a list of some possible applications and choose one application to work into your life.

Genesis 12:1-3 Three Promises to Abram The LORD had said to Abram, "Leave your country, your people and your father's household and (1) go to the land I will show you. "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. Applications on Genesis Chapter 15 General applications: 1. If God is our shield, what can get us afraid? (v1) 2.Though we must never complain of God, yet we may complain to him; and to state all our grievances. It is ease to a burdened spirit, to open its case to a faithful and compassionate friend => (v2-3) 3.When vain thoughts, like these fowls, come down upon our sacrifices, we must drive them away, and seek to attend on God without distraction => (v11) Executable application: Pray without distraction; HOW?
