First, let’s get to know each other a little better. We’ll make this a little easier by brainstorming some ideas to give some context. ie: How do we define ourselves?

1. Jot down some points on scrap paper. 2. Take your points and make a paragraph. Use the title: Who is ---------------? 3. This first draft will be re-copied for your portfolio at a later date.

What’s the next step? Your instructor will help you choose the most appropriate materials to help you achieve your goals. Your job is to self monitor and ask for assistance as needed. This may be in the form of individual help or group lessons. Feedback will be provided by your instructor on a regular basis, but your own self-evaluation is much more important.
