Post Notice of Plan Submittal to Remove Trees (orange sign) aka “Pre-posting” Arborist Gives Preliminary Approval (when meets all aspects of the law according to the plan) Applicant marks trees On-site Posting (orange sign) min. 10 calendar days Arborist verifies site conditions and plans Post Notice of Preliminary Approval to Remove Trees (Yellow Sign) (listed on Arborist website) Appeals may be filed. Appeal Packet must reach Arborist Office by 5:00 pm on the last day to file appeal. September 2007 Parks Dept. Approval Required If any public trees Return when stamped Appeal packet consist s of appeal application and $75 fee. May request waiver of fee.

2. No Appeal Scheduled TCC Hearing Appeal TCC decision (notify Clerk within 6 working days) Abroist Issues Final Approval/ IssuePermit If Frivolous Appeal - Dismiss Appeal Process: Private Property 5 Working Days (yellow sign) Notice of appeal hearing (white sign) Post Notice of Preliminary Approval to Remove Trees on site (Yellow Sign) and on Arborist website Appeal packet may be filed by resident (property owner within NPU or 500 ft of site). Complete packet must be in Arborist office by 5:00 pm on last day to file Public Notification of appeal hearing 1 week Prior to hearing 2 weeks prior to hearing Appellant and applicant submit documents Appellant and applicant submit rebuttal documents Arborist gives Final Approval YES Appeal TCC decision Superior Court of Fulton County May appeal TCC decision to deem frivolous (notify Clerk within 3 working days) Appeal packet consists of appeal application and $75 fee or letter requesting waiver of fee September 2007
