4. 4 Where does the Valtek Flow Equation come from? ANSI/ISA -S75.01-1985 defines the flow equations as they relate to control valves. Valtek Sizing and Selection Manual Section 3 contains the information in a simplified form. Valve Flow equations are quite good with accurate characterization data.
