In this part you write about the fieldwork question and the geographic context it is in. Focus on one or two hypotheses or aims. Make sure these hypotheses and/or aims are concise and clear to the examiner. State the syllabus section to which this investigation relates.

Here you demonstrate your skills of data display. The data display should be integrated in your written analysis; do NOT make a separate section. Display graphs, diagrams, maps and/or annotated photographs. Make sure you use a wide variety of data display techniques Make sure your data display relates to your investigation.

Make sure all of your graphs, maps, and other illustrations are properly referenced. You will need to make a list of illustrations which is similar to a Table of Contents. THERE IS NO WORD COUNT HERE SINCE THE DISPLAY OF DATA DOES NOT REALLY INCLUDE WORDS. You may use annotations or notes which do not count to the total amount of words.
