2. Henry G. Ford TThe Model T Ford was built by a man named Henry G. Ford. HHe was the founder of Fords Motor company, when he started it once the first car was sold. NNot one person knows what his middle name. In fact he might not even know what it was. Everyone just put it as Henry G. Ford. HHe was very unique. He had a mind of his own. BBut he was also a man who cared for others.

3. Fords Assembly Line  Before there wasn’t any robots to build the cars for us people in the factory, we had people working in the factory on Piqutte Avenue.  In 1908 the assembly line workers would get paid $2.35 each day.  That was the minimum wage back then.  To the people in the U.S. today would not be to happy about the amount of money they get would get if they worked on the assembly line.

4. The Model T  The Model T built in the year of 1908 on October 1.  The only reason Henry Ford built the Model T was because he thought that it was a good way of transportation to get people around faster.  The way you started the Model T was you had to crank a shaft at the front of a car.  The car did not have any accessories with the cars we have today. It didn’t have air conditioning, seatbelts, nor did it have a speedometer to tell how fast you were going. But back in 1908, people did not worry about how fast they went, they just worried on getting somewhere.  The wheels on the Model T were not four-wheel drive. They were just wood rims and tires at least 4 inches wide.

5. Today’s Cars…. WWhen the Model T was built it gave people the ideas to build new types of cars TThe changes with the cars today since 1908, they have had a dramatic change. TThe engines have become more durable and more advanced to make the car move at very high speeds. TThe Model T was not the kind of car we use today, because we race, maybe go mudding, and style. BBut since the cars today have more accessories and more big of an engine, it cost a huge amount more. The Model T priced around $360 to about $825, that was a bunch of money back the in 1908.

6. …Today’s Fords  Today, the average Ford would sell around $19,000 to around $31,000.  Also with our cars today, people can add parts to their car which is called a body kit.  With the body kits attached to the car will increase the price of the car.  People who have a gas motor often spend way to much money on gas then the people with electric cars. The electric cars today has to be charged with electricity. The reason why most electric cars are being bought is because gas prices have raised dramatically.
