3. Secondary agricultural school  The director of the school is willing to develop the education. He was a very strict person (but not with his time-keeping… Hungarian time!)  The students have lots of opportunities to pursue interesting extracurricular activities: horse- jumping, fotball, growing their own vegetables, flower arranging etc.

10. Thermal bath  A small group of auditors were sent to evaluate the baths.  The outdoor pools were very warm, very relaxing, and proved to be an excellent location for academic discussion.  It was situated in a town oriented towards foreign tourists coming either for the dentist or the spa. One enterpreneur was so inventive as to offer the ”dental thermals”

11. Music school  It keeps a very good education and needs network partners.  The retiring headmaster keeps fit…  The school provides a regular venue for concerts by famous orchestras and ballet.

13. The university of agriculture  It is a great combination of old and new. It is the oldest agricultural university in Europe.  They are also the agricultural advisory centre for Western Hungary and try to get farmers to come to visit them.  It is in an old castle with origins from Roman times and in a hypermodern building with origins from EU-funding.  It gets flooded with EU-proposals.

19. The blue hotel  It was like a five-star hotel in the middle of nowhere.  The home-made apple palinka was just the start! The bed was sooo comfortable and the atmosphere so peaceful we could have slept around the clock.

21. Zoltans weddings preparations  Annet has a very tricky taste concerning wedding-shoes.  They are very much in love  They are very much in love

24. telecottage  They need money, but local government does not give it. So, they have difficulties to continue their job. They do excellent job for the villagers.  They set-up a mini-parliament with children and adults, taking equal responsibility for running projects, such as the folk-museum.  ”Euro Vegas” is blocking the funding for the project proposals and is the cause for the closing of the prosperous dancing school.  A multi-functional place to help people in different ways.  A place that gives the opportunity to local people to occupy themselves with different activities: dancing, internet, theatre, courses.

So different from the Greek ones. Popeye restaurant had tasty food, sweets… and many insects as well.

35. Forest school  An interesting way to teach and learn.  The school not only introduces pupils to the nature but also teaches them more about working with nature. Such as making a beautifully! carved turtle from wood.

39. Canoeing  It was an experience of a life-time. The weather, the river, the atmosphere, the company  It was an experience of a life-time. The weather, the river, the atmosphere, the company  The water – under the canoe, in the canoe and all over the body, thanks to the neighbouring canoeists. And the best places were the eggy place, the flooded forest.  Paddling through the Hungarian rainforest. Amazing! The white-tailed fisheagle was flying above us, the great crested grebe was diving around us.  The best activity from the study trip. Team work was important.
