9 9 th Grade:9 th Grade: Learn about and participate in all service learning projects and advisories. 10 th Grade:10 th Grade: Participate in all learning projects and advisories accumulating 10 hours of service learning with advisory and complete sophomore paper. 11 th Grade :11 th Grade : participate in all service learning projects and advisories accumulating 10 hours of service learning with advisory. Student will also work with advisor to plan one whole group advisory project, complete junior paper and present it to the student’s advisory. 12 th Grade :12 th Grade : Participate in all service learning projects and advisories accumulating 10 hours of service learning with advisory and complete a personal service learning project accumulating 10 hours of service credit for graduation. Advisory Project Checklist and Timeline by Grade:

10 Freshman:Freshman: Introduction to advisory including general service learning projects. –Complete Maple Plan at the end of the school year. –Each plan placed in students cumulative file. –Help students pick community to join. Advisory Project Checklist and Timeline by Grade:

11 Sophomore:Sophomore: Placement in a community and advisory. Introduction to service learning projects developed around the community theme. Completion of a written paper detailed personal Service Learning lessons learned. –Must be completed prior to starting Junior project.

12 Advisory Project Checklist and Timeline by Grade: Junior:Junior: Continuation in advisory. Completion of a written paper and presentation to advisory group detailing lessons learned from planning a whole group advisory project. Must be completed prior to starting Senior project.

13 Senior:Senior: Continuation of advisory. Service learning Senior Project done throughout the year. Senior presentation of project and binder during the last 20 days of school presented to the community staff. The presentation will include a written summary of the project and will connect the students whole high school experience with service with service learning. Presentation must be completed in order to graduate from Maple Hts. High School. Advisory Project Checklist and Timeline by Grade:
