Rotary International: service club, founded in 1905, over 34,282 clubs worldwide, to bring together business and professional leaders in order to proovide humanitarian services and to encourage high ethical standars in all vocations. Lions Clubs International: founded in 1917 (Melvin Jones); over 46,000 clubs; the aim is to meet the needs of the communities on a local and global scale.
