2. SPANISH 2 Course overview: In Spanish II we will focus on the development of communication and interpersonal skills, cultural awareness and appreciation. Speaking every day, studying Spanish-speaking cultures, grammar structures, reading and writing will all serve to help promote a life-long love of language learning. Expectations: It is expected that students come to class on time, prepared and willing to learn. 3. Graded activities will vary by marking period. Most will fall within the realm of quizzes, tests, dialogues, compositions, homework, posters, presentations, group work, world language lab activities or class participation. 20% Homework 20% Class participation 30% Quizzes/Projects 30% Tests

5. I will be available Tuesdays and Thursdays after school in room 903 from 2:05-2:35. I am also available at other times by arrangement. Please have you child ask me for help. I want all the students to succeed and feel confident in Spanish. Spanish 4H and 5AP students in the Spanish National Honor Society will also be available after school.
