Plan of Salvation Jesus became human, died, resurrected and ascended to heaven It united to God those who will put their faith in His sacrificial death. A. How close is the connection between Resurrection, the Ascension, and Christ’s work of intercession? I Peter 3:21, 22

Plan of Salvation The death and resurrection of Christ makes possible the mediation of Christ before the Father. Through the mediation of Christ in the heavenly sanctuary, we attain forgiveness of our sins. B. What is the relation between the sacrifice of Christ on the cross and His mediation in the heavenly sanctuary? Heb. 7:25; I John 1:9

Christ’s mediatory work Jesus finished His sacrificial work on the cross and is now working as King and Priest in the heavenly sanctuary. Christ began His intercessory work immediately after His enthronement. A. What is Christ doing for us as our Mediator in heaven? John 16:23
