2 Sending an email attachment to Santa I made a new message and i pressed the insert button and choose what I wanted and then I sent it

3 Replying to Santa To reply to santa I clicked on the email he sent me and then I pressed the reply button and wrote my email then I sent it. Include a screen shot of the email you wrote.

4 Forwarding an email I pressed forward

5 Group email To send a email to more than one person I put the main person in the To; section and the others in the cc; section. Include a screen shot of the email you wrote.

6 Compressing Files It makes the file size smaller so you can send bigger files and you can send them quicker the people.

7 Muddled Emails Santa is new to using his email. He has emails from elves, from children and from suppliers. How can he keep these in order so they aren’t muddled up? You can use folders to put your important emails in one so you don’t delete them or get them lost and you can put your emails that you don’t need in another folder. It is helpful because if you ever need a important email then you don’t have to go through every email you have to find it. Include a screen shot of your folders.

9 Away from Email Santa is new to using his email. He is going to be very busy over Christmas and would like your advice about setting up auto messages. I said that I will email you back when I get home and I changed the date

Do not leave your email signed in on a public computer because loads of people use them and they can do anything with your account Do not open emails you do not know or understand because it might have a virus in it Do not click on links if you do not know who the person is because it could be a virus Do not give out your password because then people will go on your account and mess with you files or even do things that are illegal Do not give out your details because people then have access to everything

11 Email Netiquette Santa is new to using his email. Explain what email netiquette is. Give him a list of tips and advice and describe their importance. Email netiquette is being polite to over email. 5 tips When writing a letter make sure you start with Dear… and finish with From.. Because it is polite Do not write in capital letters because it means you are shouting and that is not polite When sending a email do not write them an essay because you think about their time which is polite Add a subject to the email so the person knows what it is about Check your email regularly and make sure you reply because it is polite

12 No email Santa is new to using his email. He can’t receive any new emails or send any emails. What might the problem be? You need to have the programmes and you need electricity and you need to make sure that the website isn’t blocked and that the Internet isn’t off so that you can send your email. You need to double check that you are using the right email address. You need to make sure that you don’t send it into draft and make sure that you send It properly.

13 Full Email Santa is new to using his email. He is concerned about the number of emails he has received and he is running out of space. Explain what archiving is and how to do it. You should delete your spam emails. Delete unnecessary emails because you don’t need them. Archiving is about old emails that you are saving them off your email. You export your old emails onto your computer and you store them onto a computer for example like harddrive. On a computer you can compress it so that it will be smaller. If you want to put them back on your email then you can important them easily because they are saved as emails. this is good because it keeps your emails safe so that no one else can see them. And it is good because it gives you more space on your email.
