4.  Do be specific and consistent  Do think about your target audience  Do break flyer up into sections using CRAP.  Do use KISS Principle (Keep It Simple Silly) – Say what you mean.  Do use a.m. or AM / p.m. or PM  Do use Bullet Lists

5.  Don’t overload the flyer with information  Don’t say January 30 th, 2012 – Should be January 30, 2012 or 30 th of January.  Don’t use 6:30-8 – Should be 6:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m.  Don’t use 8 o’clock – Should be eight o'clock.  Don’t hyphenate words between lines. If a word doesn’t fit on a line, don’t hyphenate it.
