The PACK is a group of Dens DENs, organized by grade level, are 6-10 boys with age-appropriate activities – 1 st Grade: Tiger Cub Scouts – 2 nd Grade: Wolf Cub Scouts – 3 rd Grade: Bear Cub Scouts – 4 th & 5 th Grades: Webelos Scouts Cub Scout Organization

Dens – 4- 8 boys – Has a Den Leader, Assnt Den Leader – Has Games, Skits, Songs, Ceremonies and some field trips Cub Scout Program

Cub Scouts (7 - 10½) Pack – Made up of Dens – Meets Monthly – Has a Cubmaster – Has Games, Skits, Songs and Ceremonies – Presentation of Advancements Scouting Program

Committee: – All Volunteer – Sets program and executes activities – Orders badges, handles finances, train leaders Chartered Organization – Farney Behind the Scenes

Tigers – 1 st Grade Five Achievements – Each one has 3 parts – Get Tiger Beads – White Orange and Black – Gold for Special Achievements

Bobcat For ALL new Scouts Learn cores to cub scouts – Promise – Law of the Pack – Handshake – Salute – Motto – Sign – Meaning of Weblos

Wolf – 2 nd Grade 12 Achievements Boy can Work on Electives For Every 10 Elective the boy can get an Arrow Point

Bear – 3rd Grade 12 Achievements out of 24 possible Boy can Work on Electives For Every 10 Elective the boy can get an Arrow Point

Webelos 20 Activity Badges Arrow of Light- The highest Award possible for a Cub Webelos is an 18 month program In February of 5ht Grade Year the Webelos cub can graduate to Boy Scouts

Scout Track You can perform the following in Scout Track: Track and Update Achievements and Advancements Email your Den or Pack Leaders Find information on dates and events If you are a leader you can communicate and update Den info in the same place

MyScouting.Org This is a website that is supported by the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). MyScouting is a GREAT site for everything you will ever need to know or do as a Cub Scout Parent or volunteer. It is highly recommended that all Parents who plan to participate in the Cub Scout program register and at minimum take the YPT Training (Youth Protection).

We: are chartered by Farney Elementary have attained GOLD level in Journey to Excellence last year 39 active scouts and 18 adult leaders strong are in the Big Cypress District of the Sam Houston Area Council have been chartered 10+ years Pack 978 Stats

Pack meetings are typically held: 3rd Tuesday of every month Pack Information Location is Farney Elementary, Den Meetings are weekly- can be at Farney or a home
