3. What? Oral histories – stories and memories of life in the area. Researching the heritage of the area.

5. Why? To make sure stories are not lost. To bring people together To encourage interest in the local area.

6. So what do we want from you? Please sign up to be part of the project! Share your stories and be ‘interviewed’. Come on visits to local landmarks. Attend talks by speakers about the area or about social history. Learn how to research heritage. Come to reminiscence workshops.

7. When? The project will run from January to September 2013.

8. What happens at the end of the project? You will get a copy of the booklet and the DVD. Recordings and booklet will be lodged with local archives.
