2. We pray because we have to
We pray because we have to. Because we’re desperate for God – to walk with him... in step with his will for the world.
Prayer is like breathing – we do it or we die.

3. And we pray because prayer is vital to releasing people from poverty, both material and spiritual. Because when we pray, we’re transformed, and we can transform the world around us.

4. This year’s One Voice is about being Lit up. Together. Around the world. Because we want to be channels of God’s love – beacons of hope and lights in the darkness. Together.

5. When the people of God around the world light up like this – united as one global movement – together, we light up the darkness.

6. We are One Voice. The united body of Christ, praying together for an end to poverty.
