2. A meerkat lives in the kalahari desert
APPEARANCE A normal meerkat often stands upright on rear legs. A meerkat’s length is 25 to 30cm.Their tail length is 19-24cm. His claws are for digging burrows to protect themselves from jackals. They are squirrel sized.

3. Diet
They eat all sorts of stuff like scorpions , small lizards, insects, spiders and forage during the daytime. Furthermore they work together to hunt.

When they sleep together ,they huddle in a pile to keep warm. Their group is called a mob and they have several burrows.

Meerkats do exactly everything together: they work together, eat together, sleep together, and do all sorts of stuff together. They give birth to 2-4 pups a year.
