3 Background  Google Analytics used to complement DSpace statistics  Concerns over DSpace statistics  DSpace stats tended to break on us  SOLR stats put a lot of pressure on our server  2 datasets which didn’t quite match  Google analytics does not automatically count downloads  February 2015 – Decided to solely use Google analytics  April 2015 – Go Live

7 Where to start  There is so much information that it can be confusing  Basic information – Referrals, Geographic etc can be shown in dashboards  Import dashboards  Generic Dashboard is good for showing simple information  This can be customised
