London 15 November 2005 Cultural impact of implementing an information standard The organisation is not the owner of the information –but should assume responsibility for the view on (the use of) the information in any particular user context (i.e. software application) The customer should not change the manufacturer's data –but tune the view to the user’s context Process is the implementation of activities in the organisation, given the available resources at the time –a viable organisation will change resources over time
