3 Population : Ontario & Land Area  In the year 2001 the population for Ontario was : 11 410 046.  The land area for Ontario is 907 655 square kilometres.

4 Year Ontario Joined Canada  The year that Ontario joined Canada was: July 1, 1867

5 Ontario’s flag  Ontario’s flag was made in the year of May 11, 1965.  The Ontario flag has The Union Jack on it.

6 Coat of Arms & Ontario’s Motto  The motto of Ontario is this: “loyal she began and loyal she remains”.  Under this here is Ontario Coat Of Arms.

7 Ontario’s Provincial flower  Ontario’s Provincial Flower is known as the “White Trillium” and/or also known as “The Wake Up Robin”.  The became Ontario’s flower in the year: 1937.

8 Climate & Weather  Well the best way to explain it is that the Summers are EXTREAMLY HOT (trust me I was there) and the winters are not really cold but they are at least cold.

9 Capital city of Ontario pt 1  The capital city of Ontario is a little or should I say huge city named Toronto.  The population of Toronto in this year is: 2 503 281.

10 Capital city of Ontario pt 2 1. The first interesting fact about the city is that my dad’s soccer team TFC ( Toronto Fan Club). 2. The second interesting fact is the height of the CN tower it is 1 815 feet. 3. Now the 3 rd interesting fact is that Toronto is Canada’s largest city.

11 Industry of Ontario  The kind of industries in Ontario (jobs) are mostly Mining, forestry, and last but not least manufacturing.

12 Culture of Ontario  Back in about the 1800 and 1900 hundreds people used to go down Niagara Falls in barrels! I know right.  One of the festivals that they have in Ontario is a HUGE celebration of Caribbean culture.  James Naismith (Who invented basketball) grew up in Ontario!  Another festival in Ontario takes place each summer across the Province it is The Canadian Aboriginal Festival.
