Complexity Vs Complication In complexity, there's probably a lot going on, like cause and effect stuff, and lots of relevant details In complication, there's always a lot going on, and lots of bits that might or might not connect to other bits, be connected at sometimes There may be cause and effect, but not sure which is which; lots of details, but they're hard to pin down

Time versus Real Time Each of us has such a bank. Its name is TIME Every morning, it credits us with 86,400 seconds Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever of this we have failed to invest to good purpose It carries over no balance. It allows no overdraft Each day it opens a new account for us If we fail to use the day’s deposits, the loss is ours.

Data Vs Information Data is raw material & unorganized facts that need to be processed When data are processed, organized, structured or presented in a given context so as to make them useful, they are called Information

Linkages & Connectivity Linkages is a technique for depicting complex systems of relationships between multiple variables This is useful for example if need to see how human capital management relates to various dimensions of business performance
