3 Messaging l Dynamic email filtering: calendar, rolodex, communication history l Desktop knows everything: all email passes through it l Unify email appearance: all email from me has same address l Hide pager address: no one else but my computer should decide which emails I receive!

4 Information Requests l Desktop: e.g., rolodex, to do list, calendar l Internet: e.g., weather reports, traffic information, stock quotes, definitions l Operating System: UNIX command line, pager as a remote text terminal!
