“Drawing with Scissors” Choose a subject (What makes you happy?) Start with a background (large, colourful sheets/shapes) Theme - your ‘happy place’ (can start with ideas… list, sketch, brainstorm, plan…) Draw with scissors - Make it abstract; do not draw with pencil Can use leftover scraps/paper too Use patterns and create designs (repeat the same shape more that once to create patterns) Experiment with colours so they “…sing without paying attention to rules and regulations.”) Arrange first, then glue the shapes Give your work a title
