3. 1. The earthquake that occurred in Haiti was more than likely to cause more death and more damage because... Haiti is poorer and they don’t have enough money to build stronger buildings, so when an earthquake hits, the buildings are only weak. 2. Chile is a much wealthier country that Haiti, how do you think a country’s wealth could affect it’s citizens in the aftermath? Chile would have enough money to buy stronger buildings so when a earthquake hits, the citizens could have more chance of survival.

4. if I were in the situation of an earthquake, I would take- 1. Water 2. Enough food to last a week 3. Sanitary needs (toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, etc.) 4. Dogs, family. 5. MONEY If I were also in that situation, I would leave behind- 1. Furniture (couches, Stools etc.) 2. Linen Un-necessary food.

6. An earthquake measuring the size of 6 on the Richter scale would be 100 times stronger than one measuring 4. An earthquake measuring 2 would be 1000 times weaker than one measuring 5.

7. it was really cloudy, the air had filled with fumes, all my family were dead. I walk into the demolished street, I hear voices, I run back to my home, grab some rope and rescue one of them, they thank me for saving them then they are on their way. I hear more voices as I walk down the street. I go to get some ore rope when it gets stuck. I cal for help but no-one hears me, I pull with all my might but no luck. Eventually the screams stop. We need to rebuild our society stronger. We call in builders, soldiers etc. to help us rebuild our lives. Although there were so many dead, we moved on...
