HOW TO DEVELOP THE NATIONAL CHM EFFECTIVELY IN ORDER TO SUPPORT THE IMPLEMENTATION OF GHANA’S NBSAP The Ministry needs to provide adequate budget for the CHM. There should be a staff dedicated to the CHM There is the need to retrain and strengthen the network of the national contributors. CHM-NFP to ensure regular update.

HOW IS THE FUTURE OF THE NATIONAL CHM BEING CONSIDERED IN THE PROCESS OF REVISING YOUR NBSAP National Target: The Clearing House Mechanism (CHM) information effectively collected (CHM) disseminated and utilized Activities: Conduct capacity needs assessment and build capacity for institutional representatives on CHM Develop MOU with government and private institutions on access to biodiversity information Strengthen the network for uploading information on to the CHM
