LANDSCAPE PROJECT: Objective: 1) You will make a landscape drawing using Aerial Perspective to show 3-D Depth in a 2-D Picture Plane . 2) You will base your composition on a Hudson River School Painting.

Directions: 1) On your laptop, Google Images for “Hudson River School”. 2) Choose 1 painting to base your composition on. 3) Save it on your computer for reference. 4) Do a GENERAL “thumbnail” sketch of the composition for practice. 5) Make a black and white landscape drawing BASED on the painting-do not copy it exactly. 6)Label your finished drawing with the name of the artist and painting you are referencing.
