3 1. ONE SIZE FITS ALL Head Mount Helmet Mount

4 PROPER FIT HEAD MOUNT With both hands pull neck pad and assembly over head Adjust chin and vertical straps until tight Holding chin cup in place pull slack/ snug on top and side straps Snap front and rear snaps Loosen all straps (2” from end)

5 PPROPER FIT HELMET MOUNT
Chin Strap Nape Strap Remove strap slack / close buckle lever Press release / remove mounting bracket Secure front and rear brackets with catch in the up position Tension the nape strap for stable fit Secure NVD to mount bracket

6 2. NVD’S SELF ADJUST THE SHARPEST IMAGE WILL BE OBSERVED ONLY WHEN THE OBJECTIVE LENS AND EYEPIECE ARE PROPERLY FOCUSED THESE ADJUSTMENTS OPERATE INDEPENDENTLY AND MUST BE MADE SEPERATELY

Used to focus the eyes (with or without glasses) to the image intensification screen

Adjust for sharpest view of image being viewed

12 VARIABLE GAIN CONTROL AN/PVS-14
Adjusts the illumination input to the eye

13 FOR OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE
