Who am I? 3/4  I am older than dirt….and lived around 570 BCE  I was a philosopher that influenced Plato  If I could of gotten e-mail, I would of found out that my great idea was not original  The Chinese in 2000 BCE beat me to the task (as well as the Babylonians)  Euclid (200 BCE) wrote about me and my accomplishments in his book “Elements” and was the first to prove that the converse of my great idea was also true  Following the first proof, many proofs followed (over 100 different!).  Euclid, Socrates, and even President Garfield found other ways to prove what I am famous for
