HTML Tags Easy to learn. Appear in pairs enclosed in angle brackets. Have a starting tag and an closing tag. Have a (/) slash in a closing tag. Example: Remember: They are just instructions to the Web browser.

More Terms! Web Page: –Is a Web document, any page created in HTML that can be placed on the World Wide Web. Home Page: –The main page for a corporation, organization, or for an individual. It’s the first page! Welcome Page: –Designed especially for new visitors to a site. HTML Page: –Also is a Web document, any page created in HTML that can be placed on the World Wide Web. Web Site: –Includes a collection of many interconnected Web pages organized by an company, organization, college, university, government agency, or individual.

How to View Source Code from a Web Page: Open a Web page off the Internet. Select View from the Menu Bar. Select Source from pull down menu.
