1. Czech traditional christmas ornaments Rattan or straw star

2. You need: Scissors, Cotton string, Rule, Flat rattan or straw

3. Cut rattan or straw into 10 to 14 cm pieces

4. Tie pieces together, make triangle

5. Put next piece of rattan into triagle, one triagle´s side is up and the second is down this piece

6. Put next piece of rattan, see how to cross ends

7. Put the third piece, now you have triagle into triagle, see how to cross (up or down) pieces

8. Tie top of second triangle, make small loop for hanging up star on tree

9. Tie the second top

10. Tie the third top, now you have star, old traditional czech ornament

11. For inspiration, use various coulours of string

12. You can pack star into cellophane, use colour paper to highlight your star
