2  This is the belief that the government should plan and control the economy.  Ideas: all goods are equally shared among the people, based on what you need, not what you want. No social classes. One single party. Peoples/citizens rights are limited.  Modern Day Example(s):

3  This type of government is a combination of democratic (capitalist) and communist theories.  Ideas: govt controls big business, people own small businesses, people have rights, more than one political party.  Example:

4  This is the belief that government should provide more social welfare programs.  Beliefs include: pro-choice, want more environmental laws, less money on defense, support gay marriage.

5  This U.S. political party believes that government should be actively involved in social welfare of citizens; not violent; peaceful gradual change.

6  Someone who believes in both liberal and conservative ideals. Uses the “wait and see” approach.

7  This U.S. political party believes that government should be a “safety net” in providing social welfare programs. People should rely more on the private sector (businesses and charities). Build national defense.
