Who are you! Everyone loves ice breakers Your name, major, where you are from and your favorite type of weather/most memorable weather event.

Project Info Two “group” projects (Groups of 5). Worth 20% of your final grade. (Project 2 may be changed) 1 st project will be a 15 minute class discussion on a topic related to weather and/or climate. Groups will be assigned next week

Project Important Dates 2/1 – Assign groups and discuss topics 2/15 –Peer Evaluations Due 2/22- Draft of Project Due (Including outline of paper) 3/1-3/8 Presentations

Project Topics Start thinking about them now! Must be answer a specific question: Examples: Should we worry about sea level rise? Have severe weather events in the US increased as a result of climate change? How has the drought in California affected produce? How can we forecast the weather more efficiently?
