2. Our school is a regional sports secondary school where children gifted at sports and who are going to become professional sportsmen or specialists in sports, can study and do sport. The aim of our school is to provide basic and secondary high-quality education together with sports education which matches to child’s talents and abilities and to raise competetive personality which is able to adapt in modern society. “ A person must be in the first place in a person. 3. The school was founded in 1961. The school was reorganised and became Šiauliai Sports secondary school in 2014 –09 –01. There are 197 students in our school from Šiauliai and from other parts of Lithuania. 91 students live in dormitory There 36 teachers and 23 coaches at our school.

(Lithuania-Turkey-Finland) Bilateral Comenius project “Generational link: playing and learning “ (Lithuania-Portugal) Šiauliai students’ contest „I am a leader”, in which our students became winners in 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011.

17. The biggest cap was created by the students of our school and it was registered in Lithuanian Records Book.
