WorkKeys Assessment ATTENTION EARLY GRADUATES Any senior who will graduate in January and is a CTE Completer will be scheduled to take the WorkKeys Assessment the week of December 2-6, 2013 at Scotland High School. Please make plans now to be present on your scheduled day for the assessment. This assessment is being offered to you at no charge this year and you will be eligible to receive a Career Readiness Certification. Should you have any questions, please see Mrs. Sheila Harris, in the Career Center Room 144.

Student Recognitions All seniors who are a CTE Completers will complete the WorkKeys Assessment in February 2014 and eligible for a National Career Readiness Certification

Attention Class of 2014 Senior Graduation All seniors who are a CTE Completers and complete the WorkKeys Assessment will receive an Honor Cord at graduation! Ask your CTE Teacher today for more details!!!

Are you a current Junior or Senior? Are you a member of a Career & Technical Student Organization? Then you may be eligible for membership into the National Technical Honor Society See your CTSO Advisor today! NTHS is the highest award for excellence in CTE

Benefits NTHS is an important career investment respected by business, industry and education, adding prestige to members’ portfolios. Student will receive a membership certificate, honor cord, NTHS diploma seal, pin, white tassel, scholarship and career opportunities. Induction Ceremony to be held in late February (During CTE Month) or March 2014

National Career Development Month Poetry & Poster Contest In celebration of the National Career Development Month we are promoting the National Career Development Poetry & Poster Contest for Scotland County Schools middle and high school division for the month of November. All entries are due no later than Monday, November 25, 2013 to Mrs. Harris in Room 144.
