2. Early on 1100 B.C. The caste system was established along with the four castes. It was based on Hindu scripture.

3. 300B.C. Kautilayas arthashastra is written which separate legal code for each caste.

4. Progress 1852 a.d. first school created for untouchables, this was a large step because now untouchables were able to learn a trade.

5. Beginning of a new age 1930’s B. R. Ambedkar begins an anti- caste movement, first real attempt for equality.

6. Justice 1950’s practice of untouchability is outlawed by India's new constitution, similar to civil rights movement in the United States.

7. Present day Castes documented to determine eligibility for scholarships similar to affirmative action.
