2. Paragraph 1 My favorite movie is Zoolander. The movie came out in 2001, and it starred my favorite funny actor, Ben Stiller. I enjoyed the movie because I really liked the jokes the characters told and that the movie made pop culture look silly.

4. Paragraph 2 This movie pokes fun at the world of male modeling. The movie starts with the announcement that the new Malaysian president has banned the use of child labor. The announcement upsets several of the world’s biggest designers, who had relied upon child labor to produce their clothes. The designers, led by Will Ferrell’s Mugatu, decide to brainwash a clueless model, Zoolander, to attack the president. They are able to successfully brainwash the dimwitted Zoolander; however, when Zoolander is about to attack the president, his friends, who have figured out what has been going on, prevent the president’s death.

6. Paragraph 3 The theme of Zoolander is that celebrities and their lives should not be taken too seriously. In our day-to-day lives, we often look at what celebrities are wearing or what they are doing; however, Zoolander shows the lives of people in the limelight in a mocking fashion. If celebrities are even remotely like the characters shown in Zoolander then people should definitely not want to follow them. The celebrities are shown as being amazingly stupid and lacking any common sense.

8. Paragraph 4 In conclusion, my favorite movie is Zoolander, starring Ben Stiller. The movie is extremely funny and enjoyable to watch. It mocks the celebrity lifestyle and makes the audience question our celebrity-crazed culture.
