12 In the Create/Edit Program Guide Menu, you can: Add new programs to your schedule/grid Edit an existing program Delete an existing program* View the scheduling for a selected week Create/Edit Program Guide * We suggest that you never (or rarely) delete programs. We’ll go over why later.

13 Create/Edit Program Guide Adding a new program to your guide: Step One: Select the time block that you want your program to air, and click the green +.

If your program is a syndicated show, you can select it from the dropdown. If not, enter the name of the program in the local program name field. Select the type of program from the Program Format list.

21 Create/Edit Program Guide Adding a new program to your guide: Step Three: On the Program Guide, you will see not live on the blocks where your program will air. Hit the go live with changes button to save your changes.

22 A conflict lets you know that 2+ programs are overlapping or were scheduled for the same time. To resolve a conflict, you can do one of two things: Edit and change the program’s end date to a date in the past. Ignore it if it’s a Temporary Edit (if it’s only for one day or time period) Deleting the program isn’t recommend because you will lose the playlists associated with that program. About Conflicts

30 In the Create/Edit A Playlist Menu, you can: Import a day of playlists, or one playlist for a show Delete and Edit existing playlists Choose a different syndicated playlist (if you play syndicated programming) View the playlists for a selected week Create/Edit A Playlist

31 Adding a new playlist to a program: Create/Edit A Playlist Step One: Select the green + to add a playlist for a specific instance of a program.

32 Adding a new playlist to a program: Create/Edit A Playlist Step Two: Confirm that you have the correct program date. Then, hit the Next button. Make sure that you have the correct program date. You can add Show Notes for each playlist. However, they will not display in Core Publisher.

33 Adding a new playlist to a program: Create/Edit A Playlist Step Three: There are three ways to add a song to your playlist: Add Song Manually: For adding new songs to your station song database. Search Our Songs: Use if you are adding a song to your playlist that you have added before. Search Full Database: Not recommended. Searches database of all songs ever entered by a station using Composer.

34 Adding a song manually: Make sure to fill out all required fields and hit “Add Song”

35 Adding a new playlist to a program: Create/Edit A Playlist To search for a song from your list of pre-added songs: Enter the artist and song name and hit the “Search” button.

37 Adding a new playlist to a program: Create/Edit A Playlist Step Three: Each new song you add will show up under Playlist Songs. Use dropdowns and Update Display Order button to change the order of songs in your playlist.

Creating Host Accounts

Managing Commerce Links

45 Establishing an affiliation with online music providers ArkivMusic, iTunes and/or Amazon, you can provide links for your listeners to purchase the music that you play on-air. Manage Commerce Links
