2 Rules of Painting Wear an art shirt when painting. Roll up your sleeves Cover your desk with newspaper CLEAN your brushes, water pots & palettes after use. Do not waste paint by putting too much in your palette. Put everything away where you got it from!

5 Equipment: Brushes Nylon for watercolour & poster Bristle for Acrylic Glue brushes for GLUE!!

6 Brush Control Paint straight lines with the side of the brush Paint details with the tip of the brush Paint in smooth, neat flowing strokes Load the brush with the correct amount of paint.

7 Task Practice painting now with the tip and the side of your brush to paint straight lines and details.
