Introduction This paper presents the effect of using micro-powder suspended in dielectric fluid and ultrasonic vibration in micro-EDM processes, investigates the frequency of the sparks during machining processes in pure dielectric fluid and powder suspended dielectric fluid, which had never been done by other studies in the same field, and uses the Taguchi approach to determine the optimum process parameters to increase the material removal rate without degrading its surface quality.
